We spent much time with the Irish Team members we met yesterday in Livingstone. They are from Belfast, Ireland and we so enjoyed spending time with them and sharing some of our Zambian experiences with each other. Early yesterday evening one of their young men asked me how many people were in our group. He seemed very surprised when I said that there were four of us. He asked "why so few"? Without thinking (yes, it happened again) I answered : "you know its not the size of the group that matters, its the size of the heart that carries them". Well, enough said as he said he was going to "borrow" that statement.
We parted company with our new friends this morning as they began their journey home and we began our journey towards Mwandi. Farewell for now and safe travels to all !
Blessings

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great multi-national experience :). VERY well said; I think I will "borrow" that expression as well. Blessings and prayers for you all!
